Nigerian music star Wizkid closed Afro Plus Fest 2026 with a big performance in Washington, D.C., on Sunday night, September 6, 2026.
Wizkid brought the three-day festival to an exciting end as thousands of fans came out to see the Afrobeats star perform.
The singer performed some of his biggest songs, including “Essence,” “Ojuelegba,” “Joro,” “Soco” and “Caro.” Fans sang along as Wizkid moved through songs from different parts of his career.
The show also had bright lights, fireworks and confetti, making the final night even more exciting. Videos from the performance quickly spread across social media.
Wizkid’s performance came after two other big nights at the festival. Davido headlined the opening night on September 4, while Tems performed on September 5.
With Wizkid closing the festival on September 6, Afro Plus Fest 2026 ended with three of Nigeria’s biggest music stars taking the stage across one weekend.
The festival gave fans in the Washington, D.C. area a chance to enjoy some of Africa’s biggest music stars in one major event.
